Salbuurun generally opens with eagle hunting, where competitors display the precision and trust between hunter and bird. This is followed by Taigan dog hunting and racing — a tribute to the prized Kyrgyz Taigan breed, renowned for its agility, speed, and keen instincts. Then it moves to mounted archery, with riders firing arrows at targets while galloping at full speed, showcasing extraordinary coordination, balance, and accuracy.
