The new collection also speaks volumes about the innovation efforts and the unyielding commitment to meticulous craftsmanship of the clothing brand, which dates back more than 500 years.

According to Li Wei, an inheritor of Longqingxiang's tailoring, the "Pastoral Urbano" series features newly developed fabrics that are strongly twisted and resistant to wrinkles. This innovation allows businesspeople to travel without worry. The use of camel hair in these garments effectively combines warmth and breathability, making them very comfortable in cold weather. With thin shoulder pads and a lightweight chest lining, the suits in this new series maintain their shape while providing a comfortable wearing experience, making them versatile sartorial options.

These innovations are rooted in the brand's centuries-old tailoring tradition.

Longqingxiang was founded in 1522 by a tailor surnamed Yuan, who was renowned for his exceptional skills in crafting officials' robes during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). During the reign of Qing Emperor Qianlong (1736-95), Yuan Shijie, the ninth-generation inheritor of Yuan's crafts, used precious materials such as gold threads and Yunjin brocade to make robes and changed the name of the shop to Longqingxiang.
