Zuo Quan, deputy chief of the Eighth Route Army, sacrificed his life on the battlefield against Japanese aggression in May 1942. Four months after his death, Liaoxian county was renamed Zuoquan in his honor.
Nestled within the valleys of the Taihang Mountains, surrounded by towering peaks and rugged terrain, this site preserves numerous precious relics of the wartime period and revolutionary heritage. It stands as a testament to the sacrifices and struggles of those who fought bravely during the war against Japanese aggression, making it a significant site in the history of China's revolution.
