US business leader: 'Constructive dialogue, collaboration' needed more than ever

A senior business leader from the United States has insisted that to inject new momentum into achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes, "now, more than ever, we need constructive dialogue and collaboration."
Speaking after being appointed the new chairperson of the US Chamber of Commerce's China Center, Organon CEO Kevin Ali noted that "I am honored to take on this significant role and am eager to work with all parties to foster diverse business partnerships."
Suzanne P. Clark, president and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce, stressed that "As a highly respected global business leader," Ali "deeply understands the importance of advancing global health, unleashing innovative potential, and navigating complex international markets.
"We believe that, under his leadership, the center will play an even greater role in fostering cross-sector exchanges and promoting collaboration in the future," Clark added.
With more than 30 years of experience in leading multinational companies, Ali has developed profound insights into global collaboration and development in the healthcare industry. He is said to excel at finding common ground and opportunities for multilateral success in diverse cultural and international market environments.
The US Chamber of Commerce's China Center stated that, against the backdrop of heightened global uncertainties, accelerated technological innovation and growing attention on global health challenges, Ali's visionary strategic leadership is expected to provide critical guidance for the center's future development.
Organon has stated that China plays a vital role in the company's global strategic blueprint, and Ali's appointment by the center serves as a testament to Organon's steadfast commitment to its long-term promise of "In China, for China. In China, for the global."
By supporting the transformation and upgrade of China's pharmaceutical industry, Organon reaffirms its dedication to contributing to the realization of a "Healthy China," a spokesperson for the company said.
Moving forward, Organon will continue to advance collaborative innovation with local partners, explore localized development strategies and expedite the delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions, they added.
