Key AI figures and innovations highlighted at 2025 China AI gala

The 2025 China · AI Gala, a large-scale themed event focusing on the development of the artificial intelligence industry hosted by China Central Television, was held in Shanghai on Saturday. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The 10 selected awardees include Wang Xingxing, founder of Unitree Robotics; Jiang Daxin, founder and CEO of Shanghai Jieyue Xingchen Intelligent Technology Co Ltd and Xia Lixue, co-founder and chief executive officer of Infinigence AI, among others. Their technological innovation covers cutting-edge directions in AI such as large models, embodied intelligence, medical care and chips, demonstrating China’s innovative vitality in various segments of the AI industry.
