Top officials meet president of Madagascar's Senate
China's top legislator Zhao Leji and top political adviser Wang Huning met separately with Richard Ravalomanana, president of the Senate of Madagascar, in Beijing on Tuesday, pledging to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and advance cooperation in various fields to benefit both peoples.
Highlighting the traditional friendship, Zhao, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the country's top legislature, said that China is willing to work with Madagascar to deliver more tangible outcomes in friendly cooperation.
In his meeting with Ravalomanana, Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, China's top political advisory body, expressed the CPPCC's readiness to enhance friendly exchanges with the Senate of Madagascar.
Ravalomanana said that Madagascar attaches great importance to developing its relations with China and is willing to learn from China's development experience.
