Water mahjong games cool visitors in Chongqing

In recent years, Chongqing has seen an average summer temperature of around 37 C, with a record reaching up to 45 C in the city's Beibei district during the summer of 2022.

In response, a vibrant summer carnival blending music with water-based amusements kicked off in the scenic spot earlier this month.

For almost a decade, the spot has hosted innovative water leisure activities every summer, featuring attractions like water mahjong, water chess, water poker, water hotpot, and a water music festival.
