Beware of the US "chip card"

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed that the company's H20 chips will soon be available in the Chinese market, as the US government has approved Nvidia's license applications to begin shipments. But don't mistake this for a full policy shift by the Trump administration.
US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick made it clear: Washington wants to stay ahead of China and keep Chinese companies dependent on US technology.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent admitted: Nvidia's export controls have been a "negotiating chip" in trade talks with China.
Trade and technology are about mutual benefit, not manipulation. Washington may play the "chip card", but China sees the game.
