On Tuesday evening, Chongqing in Southwest China witnessed a rare "triple-combination" weather phenomenon. Fiery clouds, mist, and a rainbow appeared together in the sky above the municipality following a heavy downpour.
As the sunset cast a golden-red hue on the clouds, a gentle mist enveloped the city's towering skyscrapers and majestic mountains like a delicate veil, while a rainbow arched over the rivers.
Local meteorologists said that this extraordinary occurrence is exceptionally rare and occurs due to high humidity and sunlight refraction after heavy rain, resulting in this unique landscape.
