With the strong support of China Southern Airlines Xinjiang Branch, China Southern Airlines Engineering Technology Xinjiang Branch, and Xinjiang China Southern Airlines Import and Export Trading Co Ltd, the Engineering Technology Xinjiang Branch has made every effort to tackle the Camex Airlines bonded maintenance project, optimized resource allocation, and strengthened multi-party collaboration.

As the only maintenance organization in Xinjiang that currently has dual certifications from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, the Engineering Technology Xinjiang Branch of China Southern Airlines is in a leading position in Xinjiang in terms of comprehensive capabilities, organization scale, and support facilities, providing reliable technical guarantees for international customers.

The successful implementation of the Camex Airlines freighter C-check bonded maintenance business confirms the forward-looking nature of China Southern Airlines' strategic planning for the aircraft maintenance industry. Since the beginning of 2025, China Southern Airlines has added four new international customers in Xinjiang, and the maintenance business has continued to expand.

The Engineering Technology Xinjiang Branch of China Southern Airlines said it will strengthen the construction of core maintenance capabilities, help enhance the competitiveness of Urumqi Tianshan International Airport as a hub, and promote trade, commerce, and cultural exchanges in the Silk Road Economic Belt.

It has been learned that China Southern Airlines will seize the opportunity, improve infrastructure construction, cultivate new "bonded+" foreign trade formats, promote the aircraft maintenance industry to leap to the high end of the technology chain, accelerate the construction of a global aviation maintenance service network covering the Belt and Road, and help promote the high-quality development of China's civil aviation maintenance industry.
