Student visa, or surveillance visa?

The Trump administration is resuming student visa applications but it's also introducing stricter screening. Applicants are now required to unlock their social media accounts for scrutiny.
This kind of vetting invades personal privacy, boosts government surveillance, and threatens freedom of speech.
What's happening is anything but welcoming. Education should be about learning, not ideological policing.
