China–South Asia Expo welcomes world with open arms


The ninth China–South Asia Expo has kicked off in Kunming, Southwest China's Yunnan province, and will run from June 19 to June 24, drawing participants from across South Asia and beyond.
Taking place at the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center, the expo has attracted representatives from 73 countries, regions, and international organizations, as well as more than 2,500 enterprises.
The event serves as a key platform for promoting regional economic and trade cooperation, cultural exchange, and mutual development, featuring representation from countries including India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Maldives, and Afghanistan.
Through exhibitions, business forums, and cultural showcases, the expo is helping to deepen ties across the region while promoting the values of peace, inclusiveness, and connectivity.
