State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company: Line inspections and maintenance for peak summer power supply

On June 15, at the maintenance site of the 110 kV Shimo 1738 Line in Mohuan village, Longyou county, Quzhou city, Zhejiang province, State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company organized its employees to conduct a refined inspection and maintenance of the power lines. This initiative effectively reduced the line failure rate and thoroughly prepared for the peak summer demand.
As temperatures continue to rise, the grid load is also quietly entering an upward trajectory. To ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power grid during the upcoming summer peak electricity consumption period, State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company has meticulously planned and launched a comprehensive inspection and maintenance campaign for transmission lines in conjunction with the three-year action plan for fundamental safety production improvements. The goal is to fortify the power grid defenses before the high-temperature "test" begins, ensuring safe and worry-free electricity use for residents and uninterrupted production for enterprises.

In recent days, adhering to the principle of "one line, one plan," State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company has organized operation and maintenance personnel to conduct "health checks" on the lines within its jurisdiction. Based on the "inspection reports," feasible "treatment" plans have been developed to enhance the reliability of line operations. Additionally, the company has emphasized the dual importance of safety production and quality service. It has required all departments and power supply stations to closely integrate with recent safety production realities, ensuring that maintenance work is fully implemented, comprehensively covered, and leaves no blind spots. At the same time, it has coordinated the implementation of technological renovation projects, equipment overhauls, and various countermeasures, reasonably scheduled construction timelines, and strived to create safe, high-quality, and efficient maintenance practices, providing a robust safeguard for safe electricity use by residents during the peak summer period.
Furthermore, in anticipation of adverse weather conditions such as rainfall and lightning that may occur at present, State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company has strictly implemented operation and maintenance standards, increased the frequency of patrols and inspections, and made preparations for emergency repair personnel, materials, and vehicles. The company has adhered to the principle of "no stop in repair until the fault is eliminated" and has strived to ensure that "repairs are not delayed overnight," thereby consolidating the safety defenses of the power grid.
