S. Korean president holds phone conversation with Trump

SEOUL -- South Korean President Lee Jae-myung held a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump at 10:00 p.m. local time on Friday, according to the presidential office of South Korea.

The call lasted about 20 minutes, during which, the presidential office said, the two leaders discussed a range of issues including how to develop the South Korea-US alliance.

Trump also extended an invitation for Lee to visit the United States, the office said.
