Hunan provides convenience for students with disabilities

Examination authorities in Hunan province will provide reasonable accommodations for gaokao candidates with disabilities, tailored to their individual needs, Sanxiang City Express reported.

According to the regulations released by the Hunan Provincial Education Examination Institute, blind and visually impaired candidates will receive exam papers printed in Braille or papers in large-sized characters, while hearing-impaired candidates can be exempted from the listening section of the English tests. Additionally, special testing rooms, along with guides and assistants, will be provided for candidates who require these accommodations.

According to Hunan Disabled Persons' Federation, a total of 200 candidates with disabilities in the province have applied for specialized services and accommodations this year.
