'Metamorphoses' gives voice to young artists

The China Academy of Art officially launched its 2025 Graduation Season on May 31 under the theme "Metamorphoses".
One of the country's most anticipated annual art events, this year's exhibition unfolds across seven major venues, including the academy's Xiangshan, Liangzhu, and Nanshan campuses, as well as the Zhejiang Art Museum, World Tourism Museum, Quan Shanshi Art Center, and citywide media platforms.
Spanning a diverse range of disciplines, from traditional Chinese painting and architecture to AI-generated art, the exhibition features over 3,000 graduation works created by 2,971 students from 20 academic departments. The showcase offers a sweeping glimpse into the creative vigor and emerging voices of China's next generation of artists.
