A standout performance, "Ode to the Orange Tree", draws inspiration from ancient poet Qu Yuan's ancient masterpiece Jiu Zhang: Ju Song, crafted over two millennia ago. This dance elegantly portrays the beauty and essence of the orange tree, starting from its tender green fruits and infusing them with emotion and life. Each dancer embodies not just the tree's sturdy branches and clustered fruits, but also its deep-rooted connection to the land, symbolizing a harmonious blend of nature and humanity.

Rooted in traditional Chu dance, the choreography features flowing long sleeves and graceful waists, with thoughtful costume design that intricately weaves symbolism into every movement. The dance evokes a romantic patriotic sentiment through its poetic gestures, seamlessly embodying the outer beauty and inner spirit of the orange tree.
