A computer program that helps you tailor-make clothing designs by combining ethnic Li vernacular textile patterns, a processing system for rural toilets used by elderly people, bottles with QR codes that indicate when their packaging will biodegrade — these seemingly unrelated works created by postgraduates from various disciplines are on show at Tsinghua University Art Museum.

The exhibition, which runs until June 1, gathers graduation projects and designs by the postgraduates, who will receive their master's degrees from the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University in June. These students are interpreting their understandings of the revival of tradition, lifestyles driven by more humanistic and environmental concerns, and a future that's even more deeply integrated with AI.

The exhibition has joined in the latest array of public graduation shows at art colleges and academies nationwide. Displaying these works not only increases exposure but also advances social critiques. They enable schools to better orient curriculum designs and students to enhance career planning.
