Shanghai Yaoxue Water World set to open on May 31

As China's first 39-meter-high open-air aerial water park, the venue features innovative suspended slides and indoor-outdoor attractions. Pre-sale tickets have exceeded 80,000 units since May 15, with three on-site hotels reporting near-full occupancy. During the Dragon Boat holiday, daily visitor numbers are expected to surpass 20,000 for the first time.
"We aim to leverage Shanghai's pioneering economic strategy to stimulate micro-vacation consumption through high-quality snow and water attractions," said Li Ling, director of the marketing center at Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort.
Future plans include combo packages, including tickets, accommodation and dining, aimed at positioning the resort as a summer destination in the Yangtze River Delta region, capitalizing on the "cool economy" to drive post-holiday tourism.
