MOSCOW - Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is making the "necessary" decisions to ensure Russia's security, responding to the criticism from US President Donald Trump.
Trump earlier told reporters he was "not happy with what Putin's doing".
Meanwhile, Russia is drafting a memorandum outlining the framework for a possible peace agreement with Ukraine. Peskov said the draft has not yet been submitted, emphasizing that it still requires "careful verification and preparation".
Peskov also noted that Moscow is preparing for a potential new round of talks with Ukraine, though no date or location for the meeting has been confirmed.
