Expert: China-US trade negotiations just a first step, challenges remain

The economic and trade talks held in Geneva between China and the US are actually the result of China's resolute stance and countermeasures. But this negotiation is only a preliminary result, and it is impossible to reach a truly stable final deal in just one go. China must be fully aware of the difficulty and uncertainties of future negotiations, said Zhao Zhongxiu, president of the University of International Business and Economics.
