Painter's work illustrates the figurative in the abstract

The fruits of these abstract explorations will be on show at the of LAN Gallery booth at the Beijing Dangdai Art Fair at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center, which opens to the public on Saturday and Sunday.

The gallery will be exhibiting the artist's latest paintings, in which he has created a harmonious balance between minimalism and maximalism, two opposite directions in abstract art.
