Wang Chenyang, Party secretary of the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum, says the work on show offered a glimpse into recent explorations by artists dedicated to their respective fields for decades, as well as more innovative expressions by younger artists using a cross-disciplinary approach.

A seminar was held at the museum, during which artists and experts from museums and research institutions discussed topics such as the use of new materials, methods and designs in facilitating the industrial development of crafts.
