"I was always fascinated with China's development story and was happy to witness it firsthand," said Pathanaboina Ramakrishna, a PhD student at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). He emphasized that India could learn valuable lessons from China's modernization, particularly how it achieved "leapfrog development within just decades."

He made these remarks during the China-India Young Scholars Dialogue, hosted by the China Institute of International Studies on May 12, 2025. The event brought together young scholars from both countries for in-depth discussions on topics including the 75th anniversary of China-India diplomatic relations and bilateral youth exchanges.
