Xingji Meizu Group, a smart device maker backed by Chinese auto giant Geely, has unveiled its latest artificial intelligence phone to target tech-savvy consumers, as the company vows to put "all into AI" amid the intensified competitions.

The new phones Meizu Note 16 series are powered by the company's operating system Flyme AIOS 2, which can support more AI functions, such as more natural human-machine interactions.

AI phones are now the latest trend that all smartphone brands are eager to embrace. As AI impacts all corners of the device market, smartphones are expected to drive the AI revolution into every home, according to a report by global market consultancy International Data Corp.

IDC forecasts that global AI phone shipments will surge to 827 million units by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of 100.7 percent from 2023 to 2027.
