Appliance makers Midea, Hisense in strategic partnership

Chinese home appliance manufacturers Midea Group and Hisense Group on Wednesday inked a strategic partnership to collaborate in multiple fields, such as artificial intelligence applications, global advanced manufacturing and smart logistics.

The two sides will conduct extensive cooperation in digitalization and AI application platforms based on their own advantages in digital practices, especially in promoting the application of AI agents in numerous sectors such as manufacturing and logistics.

They will also carry out cooperation in areas like green factories, industrial internet, and global production capacity layouts.

In terms of smart logistics, the two companies will optimize and upgrade the platforms, including the synergy of production and logistics, and intelligent warehousing systems, so as to enhance the operational efficiency of supply chains and improve inventory management.
