Chinese, Singaporean firms partner to boost smart future for Singapore

China-based Inspur Intelligent Terminal Co Ltd, a global provider of industry-specific intelligent terminal services with market presence covering over 30 countries and regions, has partnered with two leading Singaporean firms to help drive digital transformation in Singapore and Southeast Asia and empower smart living.
Inspur Intelligent Terminal officially has entered into a deep strategic cooperation with Gain City, a leading Singaporean retail and technology service giant, and Mentech, a pioneer in optoelectronic and magnetic fusion technologies and solutions, so as to integrate their technological strengths and local expertise, focusing on key areas such as smart retail, green building and smart home solutions.
The three parties formed the partnership during the inaugural Asian edition of GITEX ASIA, a premier global tech event that was held at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore between April 23 and 25.
"Singapore is a key hub for Inspur Intelligent Terminal's Southeast Asia ecosystem. By leveraging Gain City's and Mentech's local resources, combined with Inspur's technological, product and service strengths, we aim to drive the upgrade of smart office, digital display, and new energy infrastructure across Southeast Asia," said Sun Yezhi, chairman of Inspur Intelligent Terminal.
Sun added that Inspur plans to further expand its local technical team and accelerate product localization and business support systems.
With business spanning four major categories in display terminals, zero-carbon terminals, service terminals, and flexible manufacturing and services, Inspur Intelligent Terminal offers a diversified product line, with its market presence covering over 30 countries and regions worldwide.
Meanwhile, Gain City has a deep-rooted presence in the Singapore market, offering one-stop retail and digital services, with expertise extending to emerging sectors such as energy optimization, smart homes, and AI applications, while Mentech specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of high power-density magnetic components, providing efficient and energy-saving solutions and helping drive the achievement of green and low-carbon goals.
It has been learned that this three-way collaboration will form a synergy of "global technology + local application scenarios + vertical expertise," injecting new momentum into Singapore's smart transformation journey.
Danny Teo, executive director of Gain City, stated that by leveraging its local advantages and through collaboration with Inspur Intelligent Terminal and Mentech, Gain City will not only serve as a retail and service platform, but also be committed to becoming a local innovation partner for smart city development in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The company aims to drive innovation in areas such as energy optimization, smart devices, AI applications, and service automation, jointly developing more localized and customized solutions, he said.
"With more advanced technologies in display, charging, energy storage, and other new energy businesses, we hope to expand from Singapore into the wider Southeast Asian region through our cooperation with Inspur," said Yang Xianjin, chairman of Mentech.
It has been learned that moving forward, Inspur Intelligent Terminal will continue to deepen its dual strategy of "global expansion" and "localized operations," using hubs like Singapore to comprehensively enhance its Southeast Asian market presence and, together with its partners, drive transformation in the global green intelligent terminal industry.
