Auto racing championship kicks off in Ordos

The highly anticipated 14th National Auto Racing Championship officially commenced in Ordos city, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on May 2.

This event brought together top racers from across China, alongside numerous off-road enthusiasts, for a challenging race through the Kubuqi Desert.

With over 2,000 vehicles, 5,000 racers and tens of thousands of visitors, this year's event is themed "Off-roading the Northern Border, Fueling a Warm City".

The event includes four competitive categories: single-model category, T2 category, manufacturer category and off-road motorcycle category.
