There will be "de-escalation" in the ongoing trade war between China and the United States, according to a recent Associated Press article titled US Treasury Secretary says trade war with China is not 'sustainable'.

Scott Bessent made the comments during a meeting with investors on Tuesday hosted by JPMorgan Chase.

"Neither side thinks the status quo is sustainable," AP said quoting a transcript obtained by the news agency.
