Justify work or lose jobs: Musk to staff

Elon Musk, the billionaire adviser to Donald Trump, said on Saturday that all US federal employees must justify their work or lose their jobs. In an email from the US Office of Personnel Management, federal workers were asked to submit "approx. 5 bullets of what you accomplished last week", Agence France-Presse reported. The deadline to reply was 11:59 pm on Monday. "Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation," Musk wrote.

14 dead, 6 injured as bus, truck collide

Nigerian police said on Sunday that an investigation has been launched into an accident that left at least 14 people dead and six others injured after a passenger bus and a truck collided on Saturday in the state of Niger. Kumar Tsukwam, a sector commander for Niger state with the traffic police, blamed the incident on "wrongful overtaking and speeding", citing a preliminary investigation.
