Delegation from 32 Chinese firms leaves for economic, trade talks in Kazakhstan

A Chinese business delegation organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) departed on Monday for Kazakhstan to engage in economic and trade exchange activities, according to information released by the Beijing-based council.

The country's top foreign trade and investment promotion agency said this is the first business delegation from China to visit abroad after the Spring Festival.

The delegation consists of representatives from 32 Chinese companies, covering industries such as mineral energy, petrochemicals, finance and trade, water conservancy and hydropower, construction engineering, aviation logistics, and machinery manufacturing.

Upon arriving in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, the delegation will carry out a four-day economic and trade exchange program aimed at strengthening communication and interaction between the business communities of China and Kazakhstan and deepening practical cooperation.
