Book on Xi's ideas on ecological civilization available
A book on Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization has been published and made available nationwide.
The book presents the fundamental spirit, content and requirements of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization in a comprehensive and accessible manner through a question-and-answer format. It features rich content, innovative presentation, clear illustrations and easy-to-understand language.
The book, which answers 50 questions in 10 parts, was jointly published by Xuexi Publishing House and People's Publishing House.
Meeting held to gather opinions on draft work report
Premier Li Qiang presided over a symposium on Tuesday to hear opinions and suggestions on a draft Government Work Report.
Li, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, listened to opinions and suggestions from the central committees of non-CPC political parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and personages without party affiliation.
Regarding this year's government work, representatives at the symposium offered suggestions on further strengthening macroeconomic regulation, promoting sci-tech innovation, deepening reform and opening-up, and safeguarding and improving people's livelihoods.
Li expressed hope that non-CPC political parties, the ACFIC and personages without party affiliation will continue to support the government's work as they have always done. He encouraged them to conduct in-depth research and offer advice on key issues in economic and social development.
The premier also called on them to further play their role as bridges, strengthening communication and liaison with various fields and industries.
