China raises prices of gasoline, diesel
China raised the retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Friday, following recent changes in international oil prices. Gasoline and diesel prices increased by 340 yuan ($46.4) and 325 yuan per metric ton, respectively, the National Development and Reform Commission said. Under China's current pricing mechanism, the prices of refined oil products are adjusted following changes in international crude oil prices.
New health R&D facility in Shenzhen
Siemens Healthineers, a German health technology company, has begun construction of a new manufacturing and research facility in South China's technology hub Shenzhen. With a total investment exceeding 1 billion yuan ($136.45 million), the new facility will cover 63,000 square meters and is expected to be operational by the end of 2027.
