Yuan strengthens against greenback

The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, strengthened 2 pips to 7.1876 against the US dollar on Monday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System. In China's spot foreign exchange market, the yuan is allowed to rise or fall by 2 percent from the central parity rate each trading day.

Oilfield sees record natural gas production

Daqing Oilfield said its natural gas production exceeded 6 billion cubic meters in 2024, achieving steady growth for the 14th consecutive year. The 6 billion cubic meters of natural gas can meet the daily needs of 39 million small families for a year, according to the oilfield.
