UNESCO inscribes Spring Festival as intangible cultural heritage

Spring Festival, the social practices of the Chinese people in celebration of their traditional new year, was on Wednesday inscribed on the UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The festival promotes morality, family values and solidarity among the Chinese people.
