Xi signs order to promulgate regulations enhancing reservist management
Xi Jinping, chairman of the Central Military Commission, has signed a decree to promulgate a set of interim regulations on the management of reserve personnel.
The regulations, which aim to facilitate the implementation of China's law on reservists, focus on establishing a systematic management structure for reserve personnel in the new era, detailing processes for their selection, rank promotion, role assignments, training, assessments, benefits and retirement from reserve service.
Xi's article on promoting high-quality, sufficient employment to be published
An article by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on promoting high-quality and sufficient employment will be published on Friday.
The article by Xi, who is also Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will be published in this year's 21st issue of the Qiushi Journal, the flagship magazine of the CPC Central Committee.
