Fiji woos Chinese travelers with road show in Beijing

China is the fourth-largest source country for Fiji, and direct flights from Hong Kong to Fiji resumed in April 2023. Over the past year, the number of Chinese tourists visiting Fiji has quickly rebounded, establishing Fiji as a leading long-haul island destination for the Chinese market.

From April to September this year, the number of Chinese tourists traveling to Fiji increased by 26 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
