Xi congratulates Cambodian king on 20th anniversary of his enthronement

President Xi Jinping congratulated Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni on Tuesday on the 20th anniversary of his enthronement.

In his congratulatory message, Xi said that since being enthroned 20 years ago, King Sihamoni has made important contributions to Cambodia's peace, stability, development and rejuvenation, and international exchanges, and has long been committed to carrying forward the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Under the joint guidance from leaders of both countries, the building of the China-Cambodia community with a shared future has entered a new era featuring high quality, high level and high standards, he said.

Depicting China and Cambodia as ironclad friends who stand together through thick and thin and extend assistance to each other, Xi said he attaches great importance to the development of bilateral relations, prizes the traditional friendship with the Cambodian Royal Family and stands ready to work with King Sihamoni to strengthen the strategic guidance of bilateral relations.

Presidents of China, Zambia exchange congratulations on 60th anniversary of ties

President Xi Jinping and Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema exchanged congratulatory messages on Tuesday on the 60th anniversary of China-Zambia diplomatic ties.

In his message, Xi said that in the 60 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two nations' ties have withstood the test of changes in the international landscape, and the two sides have consistently upheld genuine friendship and joined hands for shared progress.

Xi expressed his willingness to work with Hichilema to take the anniversary as an opportunity to carry forward traditional friendship, cement mutual support, strengthen all-around cooperation, jointly advance the modernization drives of the two countries on the new journey in the new era, solidify the China-Zambia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and build an even closer China-Zambia community with a shared future.

In his message, Hichilema said that the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties is an important milestone in Zambia-China relations.

The bilateral partnership, based on mutual respect, win-win cooperation and common prosperity, has made significant contributions to the respective development of the two countries, he said.
