President Xi's old friend: China does good job in urban governance

Luca Berrone, board member of Iowa Sister States, received Chinese President Xi, then secretary of the CPC Zhengding County Committee in Hebei, when he visited Iowa in 1985.

The old friend of President Xi has witnessed a remarkable improvement in the quality of life of the Chinese over the past 12 years.

He was impressed by the beautiful Beijing Municipal Administrative Center and believed it was a fantastic credit to the Chinese government.
