Mearsheimer: The US can no longer hinder China's technological development

Exclusive interview with John Mearsheimer, professor of political science at the University of Chicago:
The US can't concentrate on containing China because of its deep involvement in wars—the Ukraine war and the wars that Israel is fighting in the Middle East, Mearsheimer said.
While the US can hinder China's semiconductor industry in the short term, Mearsheimer believes China's vast scientific and technological talent and history of tech innovation will help it catch up in the long run.
