An Airbus Beluga, one of the world's largest cargo planes, made its first-ever landing at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport in Shandong province early Sunday morning. The plane has been dubbed the "Whale of the Sky".

The airport said the aircraft arrived carrying two H175 helicopters, having departed from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport in France.

Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport displayed its growing capacity to handle complex cargo services by providing cargo loaders and careful weather monitoring to ensure a smooth landing and successful operation for the aircraft.
