High-speed railway linking Meizhou and Longchuan begins trials

A high-speed railway linking Meizhou city and Longchuan county in eastern Guangdong province has entered the trial operation phase. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The line adds to the high-speed passenger transport corridor connecting the eastern part of Guangdong with central and northern China.

Trials related to passenger boarding and alighting, information services and disaster prevention have already been passed.
