Philippine vessel rams into Chinese ship
The Philippine vessel on Monday deliberately rammed into China's patrol boat, resulting in a collision.
In an exclusive interview with Media Unlocked, Military expert Zhang Junshe said that the Philippines' continued provocative actions in the South China Sea serve two main purposes:
First, The Philippines attempts to expand its illegal gains in the South China Sea and to occupy China's Nansha Islands further.
Second, the Philippines, as a political pawn of certain extraterritorial countries, aims to distract China and hinder its development through these provocations.
He said the Philippines' schemes will fail. China urged the Philippines to immediately stop infringement and provocations and return to the right track of properly managing differences through dialogue and consultation as soon as possible.
