Milestone reached along Hefei-Xinyi HSR
Construction of the Hefei-Xinyi High-speed Railway — a major route between Anhui and Jiangsu provinces — is expected to be completed next year as a State builder said its workers building a main transportation hub along the line accomplished lifting the main steel cap framework. China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp said its team in Mingguang, Anhui, completed raising a 230 metric ton steel framework for the main station hall, making the station the first in the HSR project to start interior decor work. The Hefei-Xinyi HSR aims to further improve the national network and promote rapid rail service in the Yangtze River Delta region, CR24G said.
