Milestone achieved for expressway

Transportation connections between central provinces will further improve as construction of the Shouxian-Yingshang section of the Hefei-Zhoukou Expressway reached a new milestone. The last major step in construction of the section — an overpass above the Fuyang-Lu'an Railway — was completed by China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp last week, the State builder said on Monday. Upon completion of the highway, road journeys between Anhui and Henan provinces will further improve, boosting integrated development of the central part of the nation.

China's cross-border e-commerce trade up

China's cross-border e-commerce trade totaled 1.22 trillion yuan ($171 billion) in the first half, up 10.5 percent year-on-year, Customs data showed on Tuesday. Growth was boosted by supportive policies, including the establishment of pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce development and facilitation of Customs clearance.
