Bad journalism poisons the Olympics

The US media has been playing with words in the realm of sports. Even before the games began, the US media groundlessly accused the Chinese swimming team of doping cover-ups.
The fact is that Chinese swimmers have been subjected to an average of 21 anti-doping tests each, nearly four times the number faced by their US counterparts, who averaged only 6 tests.
The WADA and the IOC have expressed their disappointment with the US politicization of the Games and suggested that American athletes are the ones who should be drug-tested more aggressively.
