US economy good or not: depends on who you ask

Li Cheng, professor and director of the Center on Contemporary China and the World at the University of Hong Kong, said whether the US economy is good or not depends on who you ask.
"If you ask Wall Street, yes. But if you ask the middle class, blue-collar workers, their answers will be no," he said. He pointed out that the incomes of American male blue-collar workers have remained unchanged from 50 years ago, but the American middle class has shrunk from 70% at the end of World War II to about 50% now.
