China raises prices of gasoline, diesel
China's top economic regulator increased retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Friday in response to recent changes in international oil prices. Gasoline and diesel prices are up by 110 yuan ($15.42) and 105 yuan per metric ton, respectively, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement.
Central bank conducts reverse repos
China's central bank conducted 2 billion yuan ($280.45 million) of seven-day reverse repos at an interest rate of 1.8 percent on Friday. The move aims to keep liquidity reasonable and ample in the banking system, the central bank said.
