Local authorities make efforts to prevent more dike breaks in Dongting Lake

Local traffic police authorities have sealed the road in and out of Huarong county and only vehicles for flooding control are allowed temporarily.

Dongting Lake is the second-largest freshwater lake in China and connects major Hunan province rivers to the Yangtze River.
