Govt workers called on to boost rule-of-law thinking

Premier Li Qiang said on Wednesday that the implementation of the Organic Law of the State Council should be taken as an opportunity to further enhance the ability to apply the rule-of-law thinking and approach, in order to advance work and solve problems.

On Wednesday morning, the State Council held a special study session on in-depth implementation of the law and solid promotion of building up a government based on the rule of law.

After listening to the lecture and speeches at the session, Li pointed out that government staff members should further enhance their awareness of the rule of law, so that government work is always carried out on the track of the rule of law.

He called for advancing scientific legislation, accelerating efforts to fix weak or missing links in legislation, and promote the timely revision or abolition of laws and regulations that do not meet the requirements of reform and development.
